Quilt Pattern/Name: Feathered Star Tree Skirt
Quilt Size: 50 inches by 50 inches
Quilt Maker: Ann Tarabini
Quilt Completion Date: 1990’s
Extra Information: I love the look of feathered stars and decided to make a tree skirt. First I made the quilt square and then I cut the center out and the corners.
I quilted in the ditch all over the quilt. I added meandering in the large white areas.
Beautiful! Do you have a pattern for it?
Hello! Thank you for your comment! I do not have a pattern drawn up for this, however, I have plans to put one together along with videos. I’ve scheduled this for the spring of 2022.
Is there a pattern for this tree skirt?
Hello Heidi!
Thanks for visiting our site! Unfortunately I had hoped to have a pattern ready in Spring ’22 but as you can see it’s not available. The problem stems from promising too many videos/patterns AND having trouble figuring out how to get the larger templates printed accurately. This is on the top of my list for ’23 but probably not what you want to hear.
If your heart is set on making one this Christmas (and you have some quilting experience), I could email you cutting sizes, etc.
Ann
That would be great if you could send cutting instructions! I am a quilt maker also. If I know measurements I can make it.
Ok Heidi, I will get on it right after Thanksgiving.
What a beautiful tree skirt! I would like to try making it with some red Dupioni silk, can I request the cutting instructions as well please? I am a quilter and an familiar with basic piecing techniques… measurements would greatly help. Thanks and merry Christmas !

Hello Mona! Currently I am out of state taking care of my mom who has colon cancer. I don’t have access to those directions which were done years ago on graph paper. Later today I will try to see if I can pull up the email attachments that I sent to another gal requesting info.
Thanks for inquiring AND for visiting our site. Happy Holidays! Ann
No worries Ann, please send when convenient, it’s a beautiful pattern. Moms are special 💕thanks !
This tree skirt is so pretty!
I’d love to have the cutting instructions as well.
I understand if you’re currently focused on your mom. Just keep me in mind for when life is a little less hectic.

Hello Pam! Thanks for your nice comment! I’m back in Ohio with Mom but will keep you in mind when I return sometime in the middle of May. Thanks again, Ann
