Learn one or more quilting skills while working on a quilt block; a great way to “ease into” quilting. Sew these blocks into small projects (potholder, quilt display, etc.), add them to the One Block Quilt or use them as practice squares. You can also repeat the block to make a whole quilt or include it in a sampler quilt.
The quilt squares on this page were sewn by machine. If you are interested in hand sewing quilt blocks, you’ll find more free tutorials and patterns under HAND SEWN BLOCKS. No matter which process you follow, we would love to add your completed quilt block to our site. Submit yours here.
