Quilting in the Ditch refers to the process of machine stitching in seams when securing the quilt layers. It is a popular quilting method for beginners as it does not require any marking beforehand. Quilters use a walking foot attachment when machine stitching along the seam line. This is also called “stitching in the ditch”.
