A quilt sleeve is sewn on the back of a quilt to make it easy to hang. The sleeve is a tube shape that is about 3 inches wide and is long enough to go across the back of the quilt.
This sleeve was sewn on when the binding was added. The top was sewn on with the binding by machine. The bottom was sewn to the quilt by hand.
This binding was made out of 2 different fabrics in order to blend in with the back of the quilt.
