A jelly roll is a bundle of fabric strips. The strips are 44-45” long by 2 ½ inches wide. Usually a jelly roll will contain 30 to 40 strips.
Jelly roll fabric has become quite popular with quilters. They save cutting and shopping time because they are pre-cut and often arranged around a theme/color or manufacturer. Jelly rolls also make it easier for a quilter to afford all the fabric in a particular fabric line. These strips are a fast way to build a quilter’s stash. They are perfect for strip quilting.
