A fabric stabilizer ‘stabilizes your sewing piece’. It can be made from paper (I prefer tissue paper or typing paper) or fabric. After using the stabilizer (stitching through it), some stabilizers will disappear when sprayed with water. Other stabilizers must be torn away.
